William Thomas Thornton, 74 of Woodlawn, TN passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. He was a retired Staff Sergeant from the United States Army.
He was born in Kissimmee, FL on October 7, 1951; son of the late Thomas and Lousie Arnald Thornton.
Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth McGuire and her husband Sean; son, William Thomas Thornton II; grandchildren, Sierra Thornton, Jackson McGuire, Aidan McGuire and Elisea McGuire; and sisters, Janice King and Margaret Stillings.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
