William “Bill” Smith, age 77 of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Bill entered this life on December 11, 1936 in New York, the son of George F. Smith and Elizabeth Smith. He is a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church and was a Reserve Deputy for Clarksville Police Department for many years.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Silvia Star Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Nolie Smith; son, William (Teresa) Smith Jr.; grandchildren, Shannon Stone, April Cary, Donald Vanlangen, James Ashby, and Sheila Hudson; great-grandchild, Tristin Cary; and several nieces and nephews.
