Walter "Dickie" Dixon

Walter Lee “Dickie” Dixon Jr, age 70 of Erin, TN, passed away December 28, 2023, surrounded by his family, within the comfort of his home.

Dickie entered this life on May 4, 1953 in Erin, TN, son to the late Walter Lee Dixon Sr, and Nelma Largent Dixon Simpson.

In addition to his parents, Dickie was preceded in death by his two sisters, Gennie Dixon and Sabrina Dixon both of Erin, TN.

Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Anita Dixon of Erin; children, Amanda Dixon, Walter “W.L.” Dixon III, and Lee “Nikki” Richardson all of Erin. Dickie also leaves behind nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Dickie spent his entire life in car sales and auto body work. He contributed to his community when co-owning D&D One Stop, as well as many known Auto Shops within Houston County. Dickie also enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending a little time at the casino with his wife and in-laws. He was a friend to many and held a helping hand out to all.

As the husband, father, friend, and grandfather that Dickie spent his life being, he will be missed by so many and cherished forever their many memories with him.
