Virginia Welker

Virginia Sue Parchman Welker, age 97, of Indian Mound, TN went to her heavenly home September 19, 2023 with her loving family by her side.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the B. R. Welker Family Cemetery in Indian Mound, TN with Bro. Brian Grasty officiating.

Virginia was born June 3, 1926, and was the beloved daughter of the late Herbert and Fannie Mae Parchman.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Billy Ray Welker; and son-in-law, David Earl Lemons.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Billie Sue Lemons of Indian Mound, TN; grandchildren, Kelli Katherine Miller (Jerry Wayne) of Dover, TN, David Bennett Lemons (Traci) of Indian Mound, TN; great grandchildren, Emmaline Grace Miller of Dover, TN, Adria Kilynn Lemons, and Danzie Sue Lemons of Indian Mound, TN.
