Velma Lee Ingram, age 70 of Clarksville, passed away on April 20, 2014 at her home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson with Rev. Bobby Kail officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Palmyra.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Velma was born on February 9, 1944 in Houston County and was the daughter of the late Joseph Marion Eads and Daisy Jewell Rye Eads. She was a member of Griffins Chapel of Nazarene Church and had worked at Wortham’s Deli and Hilltop Deli.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Earl Ingram; son, Gary Bailey; and daughter, Kathy Darlene Dennis.
Survivors include her son, James Bailey and wife Tanya; daughters, Leesa Simon and husband Gary, and Sue Pedder; brothers, Robert Eads and Willie Ray Eads; sister, Bettye Davis; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
