Travis Gilliland

Travis Keith Gilliland, 21, left this world much too soon on October 10, 2012. Travis was on active duty for the United States Army at Ft. Campbell. He leaves behind his mother Donna Robinson, siblings Kyle Owens, Derek Robinson, Rebecca Robinson, and Denise; his father Dennis Gilliland and grandparents Mel and Fleta Heinrich. He was a kind soul that loved to have fun, listen to music, and drink coffee. Some of his other favorites were gummy bears and Nerf guns. Visitation 1-8 pm Friday, funeral service 1 pm Saturday, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. The family has requested no flowers, but friends are encouraged to send contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
