Thurman Rye

Thurman (Shot Gun) Rye passed away Wednesday February 19, 2014 at Horizon Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1936 in Houston County, Tn. son of the late Hubert Rye and Ruby Curtis Rye. A celebration of his life will be 2pm Sunday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. J.C. Greenwell officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30pm until 8pm Saturday and from 8am until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Ruby Poston Rye of Erin, Tn. Jamie Rye and Franklin Rye both of Erin, Tn. two brothers Troy Rye and Herman Rye both of McEwen, Tn. and one grandson. Pallbearers will be Carl Davis, Wayne Clark, Kay Hudson, Ed Dotson, Daniel Rye and Daryl Rye.
