Thelma I. Davis , 88 of Winder Ga. died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth Ga.
The funeral will be at 1:00 PM Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Hilcrest Baptist Church with the Revs. Larry Davis and Jerry Harwell officiating.
Burial will be in Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM, Saturday, December 21, 2013, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and they are in charge of arrangements.
She was born February 14, 1925 in Detroit, Mi., daughter of James R. Boyd and Mary A. Helton Boyd. Survived by three sons, James William Davis, Suger Hill, Ga., Thomas Gordon Davis Sr., Dacula, Ga., Larry Eugene Davis, Science Hill, Ky.; seven grand-children and nine great grand-children.
Pallbearers are Thomas Davis Jr., Jeff Davis, Steven Davis, Ben Davis, Jacob Davis and Cody Davis.
Memorial donations can be made to either Hilcrest Baptist Church, 380 Dover Road, Clarksville, Tn. 37042 or Magnolia Estates Assisted Living Center, 624 Gainesville Hwy., Winder, Ga. 30680.
