Terry Lee Gambrell

Terry Lee Gambrell, age 81, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024. He was born on February 26, 1943, in Cookeville, TN to the late James and Minnie Lea Gambrell. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving companion Diane Bickford, and his brothers, Larry and Danny Gambrell.

Terry is survived by his nephew, David Gambrell (Lara); nieces, Krissy Henley (Casey), and Barbara Lynn King (Isaac); sister-in-law, Maggie Gambrell.  Terry was also extremely close to the family of his loving companion, Diane Bickford. He was the proud grandpa to Kayla, Danna, Makayla Nicholson, and Miles Johnson. 

Terry served in The United States Army Reserve for 6 years. He retired from Dupont/Remay after over 40 years of dedicated employment. Terry has remained very close to several of his coworkers through the years.

Terry’s wonderful personality and “keen” sense of humor created a wide circle of friends. He was an avid golfer. He played every chance he could and enjoyed spending time with his golfing buddies. 

The family and friends who love and miss Terry will always carry his memory in their heart.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
