Sylvia Harper, 73, Clarksville, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2012 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Bryan Baggett officiating. Burial will be in Ansbury Cemetery in Ripley, TN.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harper was born September 3, 1939 in Memphis, TN and was the daughter of the late Odie Lee and Riley Bizzell Sorrell.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, James Harper; daughters, LuAnne (Michael) Baggett, Clarksville, Saundra Palmer, Clarksville, Linda Bell, Nashville; brother, James Sorrell, Memphis; sisters, Linda Watts, Plano, TX, Joyce Sorrell, Troy, AL, Marie Sanders, Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Richard (Buddy) Palmer, Kathrine Buentello and Bradlee Buentello.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 8th Ave S, Nashville, TN, 37204.
