Steve Kennedy

Steve Kennedy, age 66 of Clarksville, TN passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022. Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Steve entered this life on June 24, 1956, in Ames, Iowa to the late William and Gwen Wright Kennedy. He worked in the press room for Leaf-Chronicle and was a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church. Steve was an avid sports fan. He especially loved Austin Peay State University sports and the Atlanta Braves.
He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his dear brother Dan Kennedy.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Kennedy; and siblings, Ben Kennedy and Sam (Lee Anne) Kennedy. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be made at www.NaveFuneralHomes.com
