William Stanley Hall, age 68 of Erin, TN, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at
Centennial Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Stanley was born April 27, 1952 in Erin, TN to Clarence and Corene Brown Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Tymonia Bell, grandson Stanley A. Hall, Jr., and siblings Honzie, Doris, Algey, Bobbie, Curtis, Clarence, Jr., Betty, and Ivan “Hooks”.
Stanley, an US Navy veteran, retired from TVA in 2019 after 39 years of services. In his retirement, he was an avid golfer, loved to spend time at his bars, O’Charleys & Liberty Park Grille, and he loved watching his grandchildren play all of their various sports.
Left to cherish his memory are his love, Bonita Hall of Erin, TN; son, Stanley Alfonce Hall, of Huntington, TN; daughters, Tara (Vernon) Buckley & Jasmine Hall Jones, both of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Steadman (Brittnea) Bell, Marteka Hall, Emmanual Feaser, Dorion Bell, Tavaris Buckley, Christopher “Deuce” Jones II, Tavasia Buckley, & Channing Jones; great grandsons, Aden Hall & Brenton McDonald, brothers, Lawrence Hall, Sr., Phillip (Linda) Hall, and Marvin (Angela) Hall all of Nashville, TN; devoted nephew, Lawrence Hall, Jr. of Nashville, TN; devoted friends Scotty Britt of Clarksville, TN and Kenneth Cooksey of Detroit, MI; host of
nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 13 at 3 pm at Nave Funeral Home in Erin, TN with Rev. Alexander Gatson officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 am until the start of military services at 2:55 pm. Stanley will be interred at his happy places and those who know him know exactly where that is at!
Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to St. Luke AME Church Building Fund, via Givelify, at Regions Bank in Erin, TN or by mail at P.O. Box 162 Erin, TN 37061.
