SPC Andrew S. Hafen, 25, Clarksville, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Clarksville.
A celebration of his life will be held 3 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Wohali Pavilion, 6621 11th Airborne Division Fort Campbell, KY 42223. A reception will follow the service at the Pavilion
Hafen was born June 23, 1988 in San Bernadino, CA and was the son of Keith (Kathy) Hafen and Michele Marsh (Brook) Hoyt. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sonja Hafen.
Other than his parents, survivors include his wife, Laura "Gaby" Rodriguez Hafen; daughter, Nadia "Izzy" Hafen; brothers, Lucas Hafen, Stephen Hafen; step-sisters, Ashley (David) Schild, Brianna Hoyt; grandparents, Juleen (Paul) Downer, DeWayne Hafen, Jackie Wilson; sister-in-law, Laura Diaz; numerous uncles; three nieces and one nephew.
SPC Hafen was Time Magazine's 2006 Person of the Year.
