Sherri Smith

Sherri Smith, age 59, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 in her home.

Private family services will be held.

Sherri entered this life on November 15, 1964, in Round Pound, TN. Sherri will be remembered for her loving devotion to her late husband, Joe; sunshine, and motorcycles. She enjoyed baking and relaxing on the beach. She always tried to live life to the fullest. Her feisty spirit and love for a good time endeared her to many. 

In addition to her husband, Joe David Smith, Jr., she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rueben and Marie Batson, and her father, Charles Bogard.

Survivors include her mother, Ann Batson Bogard; children, Larry Wayne Stepp, Shannon Stepp, Heather Smith, and Lynzi Smith-Crouthamel; grandchildren, Ashton, Katelyn, Allie, David, Jayden, and Janae; brothers, Rusty Davis, Jeff Bogard, Anthony Smith; sister, Tammy Roberson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, also known as Nannie and Pops, Joe Smith, Sr. and Dorothy Smith; nieces, Tabatha Davis, and Tammy Enders; nephews, Rusty Lee, TJ Blackburn, John Mutters “Bowinkle”, Chad Mutters “Chadrad”, and Dylan Gunter “Dillywilly” and Jim Lawson. Sherri also leaves behind her beloved animals, Jesus, Little Dude, and Chubbs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
