Sherman Nelson Meyers

Sherman Nelson Meyers, 82 of Dover, TN passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2025 with Air Force Honors. The Meyers family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the hour of the service on Friday.

Sherman was born on October 27, 1943; the oldest child the late Shelbya and Myrtle Meyers. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served 21 years. Sherman and his wife Nancy lived in Las Vegas for many years; while living there he began his love for playing poker and gambling. He also loved computer games, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and daughter-in-law Darlene Beyor.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 yeras Nancy Beyor Meyers; children, Ricky Beyor, Tammy Martz, Sherry Meyers and Jeremy (Ashley) Meyers; grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Spain, Jason Spain, Jamie (Dwight) Carter, Ashlen Meyers and Harrison Meyers; great grandchildren, Gavin Spain, Harper Skinner, and Helena Spain. He also leaves behind two brothers, seven sisters, brother-in-law, James (Spring) Beyor and sister-in-law , Martha Malone.
