1SGT (Ret) Grant Brewer

1SGT (Ret) Grant Emerson Brewer, age 68, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, November 17, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Grant will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville.

The family will recieve friends on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Grant entered into this life on October 27, 1955, in Dayton, OH to the late Tom and Janet Matteson Brewer. He served in the United States Army for twenty-four years before retiring. Grant graduated from Austin Peay State University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting coins and comic books. Grant enjoyed participating in Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Un Suk Brewer; brothers, Rick (Kelly) Brewer and Tom (Terri) Brewer; sister, Marcia (Michael) Bridges.
