SGT 1st Class Ret. Grant Wilson

SGT First Class Ret. Grant Preston Wilson, 59 of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Shaw officiating.

The Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025 and again on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home.

Burial with Full US Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Grant was born on November 14, 1965, in Winston Salem, NC, son of Jerry and Marilyn Harris Wilson. He served as an infantryman with the United States Army 101st Airborne Division for 23 years. Grant served in Iraq, Fort Jackson, North Africa, and retired after serving at Fort Knox. He had many skills in his life, which allowed him to work on cars and enjoy the hobby of wood working. Grant enjoyed being in nature from fishing to riding his motorcycle. Watching history documentaries, True Crime TV and The Andy Griffith Show; are just a few other hobbies that Grant loved.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Connie Wilson; daughters, Kaylea (Dylan) Moon, Brittney (Brian) Brown; sons, Alex (Liz) Wilson, Jeremy Grimes, and Chris (Harley) Hazel; brother, Mark Wilson; sister, Jessica Wilson; grandchildren, Izabelle Hazel, Alex Hazel, Landen Moon, Braxten Moon, Julianne Brown and Evertt Brown.
