Sarah "Skrippy" McIntosh

Sarah McIntosh, “Skrippy” age 81, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at her home.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2023, at Gum Springs Baptist Church with Revs. Michael Koontz and Jerry Jeter officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Skrippy entered this life on April 17,  1942 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Alex and Doshie Ferrell Bryant. She faithfully served her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was a dedicated member of Gum Springs Baptist Church where she served as the Choir Director for over 30 years. Later in life, Skrippy moved her membership to Pleasant View Baptist Church to enjoy fellowship with and be close to family. Skrippy and her husband, Tommy, owned McIntosh Construction Company. After retirement from the construction company, they continued with McIntosh Rental Company. Skrippy enjoyed being her husband’s co-pilot and loved their family more than anything.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Romy Bryant, James Bryant, Sodie Bryant, Lucy Armbruster, and Thelma Perry.

Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Tommy McIntosh; children, Bric (Trish) McIntosh, Ran McIntosh, Candice (Joe) Wall; sister, Ruth Suiter; grandchildren, Erica (Kyle) Christmas, Donavan (Ashley) McIntosh, Morgan McIntosh, Alayna McIntosh, Joe Wall III; great-grandchildren, Bailey (Thomas) Compton and Josie Christmas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gum Springs Baptist church or Pleasant View Baptist church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donavan McIntosh, Kyle Christmas, Joe Wall III, Thomas Compton, Jeff Stagner, and David Foster.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of McIntosh Construction Company.
