Ruby Mae Warfield, age 89, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at Community Care of Rutherford County in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Mrs. Warfield was born on May 26, 1924 and was a lifelong resident of Houston County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Warfield, her parents, Monte and Letha Howell, one sister Carrie Ragsdale, and two brothers Grover Howell and Billy Howell.
Mrs. Warfield is survived by her son Michael Warfield and daughter-in-law Kay Atchison Warfield, one sister Dorothy Allsbrooks, a sister-in law, Thelma Howell, two nephews, Don Allsbrooks (Karen), Monty Allsbrooks (Alisha), two nieces, Debbie Largent and Laurie Howell
“Mrs. Ruby” lived a long full life and devoted her almost 90 years to being a loving wife, Mother and sister. As a community servant, it was not uncommon to see her calling or visiting her many friends and acquaintances. She was a member of the Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian
Her story closes as her life is celebrated at a private graveside service on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 2:00 with Rev. Paul Moody officiating. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the American Heart Association. The family wishes to also acknowledge the compassionate staff and the services provided during “Mrs. Ruby’s” illness by the Community Care of Rutherford County, St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital and Signature Health Care
