Ruby B. Richardson, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, surrounded by her family.
Ruby was born February 16, 1926 in Clarksville, TN. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Charlie I. Booth and Sudie Chester Booth, and her husband of fifty years, Joe L. Richardson, Jr. She was also preceeded in death by her siblings Homer Booth, Elmer Booth, and Dorothy B. Davis Greenhill.
She is survived by her children, Sandra R. Shearron (Ben), Carol R. Shearron (Pete), and Larry T. Richardson (Martha); grandchildren, Miles S. Shearron of Atlanta, GA, Ansley R. Waters (Brad) of Concord, NC, great grandson, Cadby Waters, and nieces and nephews.
Ruby retired in 1988 from the medical anesthesia practice of Doctors Hall, Wright, Holt and Siler. She was a member of Sango United Methodist Church.
Visitation with family will be held at McReynolds, Nave & Larson Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016. Graveside service will be officiated by Reverend John Casey at Sango Cemetery on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Ben Shearron, Pete Shearron, Miles Shearron, Mark Richardson, David Richardson, Hunter Neubauer, and Steve Neubauer.
The family wishes to thank the staffs at Dogwood Bend Assisted Living, Signature Health Care, nursing staff of 5100 wing of Gateway Medical Center (Tennova Health Care), and Aseracare Hospice for their attentive care and kindness during this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Sango United Methodist Church building fund, 3301 Sango Road, Clarksville, TN 37043.
