Roy Griffy

Roy G. Griffy, age 53 of Clarksville, passed away on April 14, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday April 18, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Wilees Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday and from 12 p.m. until the hour of service on Friday.
Roy entered this life on October 5, 1960 in Montgomery County and was the son of the late Shelley Griffy and Mary Elizabeth Holder Griffy. He worked as a farmer and was a Methodist.
In addition to his parents, Roy is preceded in death by brother, Randy Griffy.
Survivors include his son, Roy Wilson Griffy and wife Penny; mother of his son, Rose Biter Griffy; grandchildren, Kenneth Griffy, Russell Allen Jr, and Ariel Allen; great grandchildren, Landan Allen, Kayden Berry, and Nella Berry.
Pallbearers will include Russell Allen Jr., Matthew Berry, Joe Griffy, Kent Griffy, Josh Griffy, and Jimmy Shepherd.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Hubert Lee Griffy and Kenneth Lee Griffy.
