Robert Stephen Veihdeffer

Robert Stephen Veihdeffer, age 89, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025.

No viewing will take place at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Robert entered this life on March 5, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late Richard and Evangeline Veihdeffer. He was a Veteran of The United States Army. In the 1960’s he received a chauffeur’s award for driving President Kennedy and Senator Abraham Ribicoff. Robert was a devout Catholic and enjoyed golfing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Draper, and her husband, Guy, and sister, Joan Rowland, and siblings by marriage, Edwin Veihdeffer and Beverly Deal.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Nancy Veihdeffer; brother, Richard Veihdeffer, and his wife, Mischelle.

Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Center.
