Robert E. McCue, age 84 of Clarksville, passed away on April 28, 2014.
A memorial mass service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Church.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the hour of service at the church on Saturday.
Robert entered this life on February 19, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois and was the son of Emmett J. McCue and Berthella Skelly. He attended Illinois Institute of Technology and served as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed reading and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He also worked at Stanadyne for 34 years and was a volunteer at Gateway Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn McCue; son, John McCue; daughter, Kate McCue; son-n-law, Robert Watson.
He is survived by son, Matthew (Patricia) McCue of Texas; daughters, Mary (Clifford) Augustine, Eileen Watson, and Margaret (Michael) Hughes all of Illinois; special friend, Anne Provo of Clarksville; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
