Rita Weiland

Rita Newell Weiland age 89 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Riley and Dr. Felts Dent officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at First Baptist Church.
Rita was born on January 6, 1925 in Fairview, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Farris Walker and Susie Myrtle Sullivan Walker. She retired as an LPN nurse from Fort Campbell Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. Weiland; brother, Randall Walker and grandchildren, Michael Douglas Weiland, Mary Chris Weiland, and Donald Terry Weiland Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Roy David (Annette) Weiland, Ralph Douglas (Mary) Weiland, Donald Terry (Martha) Weiland, Dennis Allan (Judy) Weiland, John Daryl (Cheryl) Weiland; brothers, Bill Walker and F.E. Walker; sisters, Ruth Beasley and Lila Wright; grandchildren, David Weiland Jr., Carie Jo Weiland, Daniel Weiland, Aaron Weiland, Emily Winter, Salena Falks, Drew Weiland, Cortni Roy, Ricky Mruk, and J.D. Weiland; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
Her sons will serve as Pallbearers and the Couples I Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
