Rita Baggett

Rita Edna Baggett, age 63 of Erin, TN, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN, while surrounded by her loving family.

Rita was born to the late Floyd Bowman and Willie Jean Whitehead on January 9, 1960 in Los Angeles, CA. Rita was employed with Mid Cumberland where she faithfully served her community; she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Welker; and brother, David Dew.

Left to mourn her loss are her children, Danny Welker (Misty), Kenneth Welker (Amanda), Jessica Welker; sisters, Teressa Dew, and Brenda Trobaugh. She will also be missed by her loving grandchildren, Kaitlyn Baker, Travis Welker, Rebecca Welker, Tyler Welker, Bryson Sorrells; as well as six great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
