Rev. Joe Anderson

Rev. Joe Neal Anderson, age 87, of Clarksville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at Gray's Chapel Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Ken Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery, Dickson.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the hour of service Monday at the church.
Rev. Anderson entered this life on December 25, 1925 in Monroe, North Carolina, son of the late Lonnie and Jenny Broome Anderson. Along with his recently departed wife Eulala, Rev. Anderson answered the call to serve in the Lord's ministry and served in Nazarene churches in South Carolina, Indiana, and Tennessee. In their retirement years they were caretakers of Camp Garner Creek Church of the Nazarene in Dickson, TN. He was a member of the church family at Gray's Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his adoring daughter, Gayla Gibbs of Clarksville, granddaughter Angela Gibbs Weaver, ten great grandchildren, and his sisters Bertha Knight and Louise Rorie, both of Monroe, NC.
