Ret. CW4 Russell VanCamp, age 80, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Celebration of Life will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Glen Glen officiating. Burial and Full Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Russ entered this life on October 13, 1944, in Paden City, West Virginia to the late Leon and Leona Martin VanCamp. He was a Retired Chief Warrant Officer 4 of The United States Army, having honorably served his country. He was a member of Erin Baptist Church, Ft. Campbell Masonic Lodge, the Al Menah Shriners, and the Corvette Club. Along with his wife, Russ owned and operated VanCamp Bicycle Shop. His greatest joy of all, was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Wanda McClain VanCamp; daughter, Rhonda Tucker, and her husband, Tommy; grandchildren, Amanda Hirose, Jessica Tucker, and Christopher Tucker, eleven great-grandchildren, and nephew, Bobby Durham.
