Reginald Kerns

Reginald W. Kerns, age 89, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Father David Kennedy will officiate. The family will receive friends at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday.
Reginald entered this life on November 22, 1924 son to Jack and Helen Sanderson Kerns. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Kerns. Reginald was a WWII veteran and retired from the U.S. Army following many years of faithful service. Also, he was a Catholic and attended St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hopkinsville.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Lucenara Kerns of Hopkinsville, and children, Gary Kerns of New Mexico, Tim Kerns of Illinois, and Ginger Kerns, also of Illinois. He is also survived by several grandchildren.
