He was preceded in death by his father WilliamHoward Reese, mother Edith Carden Reese, and brother David H. Reese. Raymond spent four years in the United States Air Force and was discharged an E4 sergeant. He received two degrees from Austin Peay State University. One in History and the other in Library Science. He attended Austin Peay off and on until 2019. He retired from the Clarksville Leaf Chronicle after twenty five years of service as a clerk in the mail room. He was a kind and gentle man and will be greatly missed.
