Paula Diane Steward, age 54, Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m Thursday and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Diane was born April 7, 1959 to James William and Minia Bee Baggett Leftwich. She enjoyed her 14 year career with the Clarksville Police Department before having to retire early. She was liked by many and loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 25 wonderful years, George "Bucky" Steward of Clarksville and their children, Jonathan (Toni Wallace) Steward and Victoria Taylor Neblett, both of Clarksville. She loved being "Nonnie" to her grandchildren Sean Taylor, Colton Steward, Jonathan Henry Steward, and Madison Wallace. She is also survived by siblings James "J.T." Leftwich (Sarah) of Derby, Kansas, Clifton Leftwich of Clarksville, and Judy Golden Logan of North Carolina.
