Paul Marklin Jr., age 90 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Marklin, Dr. Steve Estep, and Rev. Darrell Hartsock officiating. Burial will follow at Alex Yarbrough Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Paul was born on May 24, 1924, the son of the late Paul Marklin Sr. and Lillie Blake Marklin. He retired from Civil Service and was a self-employed plumber. Paul was a retired Navy WWII Veteran and member of First Church of Nazarene.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lori Ann Marklin.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Yarbrough Marklin; sons, Rev. Phillip (Brenda) Marklin and Jim (Sandra) Marklin; daughter, Debbie (Scott) Jamison; brother, Roy Marklin; grandchildren, Jeff Marklin, Jennifer Campbell, John Ewart, Scott Ewart, Brian Jamison, and Staci Schaefer; great-grandchildren, Meagan Marklin, Emma Schaefer, Jack Schaefer, Meagan Ewart, Shelby Ewart, Hannah Marklin and Nathan Marklin.
Pallbearers will be Brian Jamison, Jeff Marklin, John Ewart, David Hall, Randall Yarbrough, and Randy Young.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gray Nolen, Roy Felts, David Wright, and Wayne Yarbrough.
