Pat Devers

Pat Devers, a beloved member of the community, passed away on February 15, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. Pat was known for her warm and welcoming nature, always opening her home to friends and family alike. She took great joy in being a grandmother and cherished her role in the lives of her twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Born on July 28, 1945, in Hartsville, TN to the late Ed and Edith Cannon. She is also preceded in death by her late husband, R.D. “Buddy” Devers, and her siblings Ruby Little, Ruth Carroll, and Ralph Cannon. 

Throughout her life, Pat actively participated in various community activities. She was deeply involved in her local church where she not only attended services but also dedicated herself to teaching Sunday school classes and volunteering with the youth. Her faith was a pillar in her life, providing guidance and strength during challenging times. Pat's commitment to spirituality served as an inspiration to those around her.

Pat had a talent for cooking that brought people together. Whether it was a simple family gathering or a community event, she would be found in the kitchen preparing delicious meals that were enjoyed by all. The warmth of her home and the aroma of her dishes will forever linger in the memories of those who had the pleasure of experiencing them.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville, TN.
