Pablo Ponce

Pablo Ponce, age 78, of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 while at Summa Health Hospital, Akron, Ohio.

The funeral service will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Father Albert Bremer officiating. Visitation with the family will take place from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

Pablo was born in the Mexican state of Chiapas on April 12, 1945 to his late parents, Manuel Ponce and Petra Hurutia. He spent the majority of his life working in farming and agriculture and was strongly devoted to his work. Pablo also enjoyed raising and tending to animals but was most happy when he was spending time with his family. He was a parishioner at St. Franics of Assisi Catholic Church, Guthrie, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, Pablo was predeceased by his daughter, Damaris Ponce. Survivors include his wife, Gladis Alvarado; daughters, Margarita Ponce, Oneida Ponce, Maria Ponce, Paula Ponce, and Fernanda Alvarado; and a host of other family and friends.
