O'vene Fortenberry

O’vene Fortenberry, 96 years old of Ashland City, went to be with the Lord October 6, 2012.
Funeral Service will be 12 Noon Tuesday October 9, 2012 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Jerry Gaw officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 10 AM until the hour of service.
O’vene was a member of The Church of Christ at Cheap Hill in Ashland City and a homemaker. O’vene, formerly of Clarksville, moved to Ashland City to be cared for by her daughters.
She is survived by her loving family of 2 daughters, Andy Woods and Pat Bess, 3 sons, Mike Fortenberry, Henry Fortenberry and Jimmy Fortenberry, 17 Grandchildren , 32 Great-Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Great Grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Franklin Goldman and Lovie Bell Goldman, her children, Barbara Nann Fortenberry, David Rocklan Fortenberry, and Bobby Wayne Fortenberry.
