Otis Charles Johns II

Otis Charles Johns II, age 50 of Clarksville TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.

Otis, or “Chucky” as he was affectionately known by his friends, was born on March 19, 1976, in Fort Campbell, KY to the Otis Charles Johns and the late Karen Alderson.

He was known to be a skilled pool player, which was a pastime he truly enjoyed. He was a bouncer for many local clubs but despite his large appearance, Otis was a big teddy bear who loved his family and friends deeply and enjoyed protecting others.

Otis was also a big sports fan, particularly football, he was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts and the University of Tennessee Volunteers.

He is survived by his father, Otis C. Johns, I; brother, Kenneth Johns, sisters; Jessica L. (Roger) Wilson, and Megan N. Johns (Donald Pate); nieces and nephews Nicole Rutledge, Justin Rutledge, Makayla Pate, and Madison Pate.

He also leaves behind his dear friends; Wayne Boaldin, and Chris Russman, as well as his dear dog Carlos.
