Obie Lee Anderson, age 87, of Dover, TN, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2013 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home in Erin, TN. Burial will follow in Hamm Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Anderson entered this life on September 6, 1926 in Dover, TN, son of the late Charlie and Ida Kennedy Anderson. Mr. Anderson is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ora Mae Fitzhugh, and two sons, Kevin Anderson, and David Anderson.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Anderson and Michael Anderson, six daughters, Rose Bone, Deborah Norton, Patricia Morgan, Mary Ann Pritchard, Linda Potts, and Wanda Bone. Mr. Anderson is also survived by one brother, Charles Anderson, one sister, Hazel McGaha, twelve grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
