Nellie Chester

Nellie Mai Chester, age 93, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Thursday, from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Nellie entered this life on July 29, 1931 in Montgomery County, TN to the late John and Katie Sensing. She was a member of Pardue Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Monroe Chester; son, Larry Chester, and her brothers, Roy and Herbert Sensing.

Survivors include her son, Michael Chester, and his wife, Dianne; daughter in law, Vicky Mann Chester. She also leaves behind her grandson, Jeffrey Roy Chester.

Serving as pallbearers will be Toby Powell, Jameston Powell, Ronny Burkhart, Jeffrey Chester, Michael Chester, and Roger Sensing.
