Nancy Norfleet

Nancy Sue Norfleet, age 85, died on 15 May 2026 at Spring Meadows of Clarksville. She was born on 30 January 1941 to the late Edward and Alberta Steiner Shelby. She married Gilbert Norfleet, Sr. on 2 July 1960.

Nancy was a member of the New Providence Church of Christ and a 1959 graduate of Woodlawn High School. A life-long resident of Dotsonville, she was a full-time homemaker most of her life. She also worked for Harvey’s and Jostens.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by two sons, Gilbert, Jr. and Larry Norfleet, and two brothers, Wayne and Larry Shelby. She is survived by two daughters, Pamela (Timothy) Mohon, Shelbyville, Indiana, and Susan (William) Pollard, Clarksville; four granddaughters, Beth (Kenny) Smith, Santa Barbara, California, Sarah (Austin) Carey, Clarksville, Faith (Cody) Baggett, Clarksville, and Grace (Lucas) Key, Carthage; seven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted privately by the family. Memorials may be given to SunCrest Hospice.
