Myles Thomas Popa

Myles Popa passed away at the age of 37. He was a bright, strong-willed, creative person.

Myles was a veteran who defended our country from 2008 to 2012 with 1 deployment to Iraq. After his military service, Myles completed dual Bachelor degrees from the University of Georgia in Physics and Mathematics. He went on to work as a software programmer for large financial companies, including American Express and U.S. Bank.

Myles was a talented guitar player often spending time making up blues-style riffs and progressions. He loved good food and spending time with his family and close friends.

Myles is survived by his mother, Judy Krecker; his sister, Taylor Harbison; and his brother, Eric Popa. He will be remembered for his unique personality, quirky humor, and remarkable intelligence.
