MSG (Ret) Jose Manuel Calleros, age 66 of Clarksville, passed away at his home, December 7, 2013. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Soldiers Chapel, Fort Campbell, KY. Burial with full military honors will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Jose born August 13, 1947 in Tijuana, Mexico. He was a Eucharist Minister at Soldiers Chapel, a Logistics Analyst, a member of the VFW, and a volunteer at Blanchfield Army Hospital serving Communion and prayer. Jose retired from service after 22 years. He will be remembered as a loving husband of 40 years, loving father, grandfather, and son. He was dedicated to his family and church. Jose is preceded in death by his, mother, Dolores Calleros - Fong and grandmother Camerina Montano Calleros.
Jose is survived by his wife, June Buck Calleros of Clarksville, sons, Phillip Calleros of Clarksville, TN, Joseph Calleros of San Antonio, TX; father, Phillip Fong, Sr. of Rosemead, CA; sisters, Maria Calleros Garcia and Diane (Raul) Fong-Corona both of San Dimas, CA; brother, Phillip Fong, Jr. of Rosemead, CA; one granddaughter and four grandsons; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Family members will serve as Pallbearers.
