MSG Lonnie Ivison Kelley (Ret), 82, Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Walking Horse Meadows in Clarksville.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 14, 2013 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Elzy Kelley officiating. Burial will in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Lonnie was born July 13, 1930 in Livingston, TX and was the son of the late John C. and Ruby Elizabeth Coker Kelley.
He was retired from the U.S. Army and a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Shigeko Uno Kelley, Clarksville; son, Lonnie (Nadia) Kelley Jr., Arlington, VA; daughters, Shirley (Danny) Wimmer, Janet Kelley, Clarksville; surviving siblings; Claude Kelley, Elzy Kelley, Alton Kelley, Clyde Glenn, all of Texas; grandchildren, Lonnie Kelley III, Leila Kelley, Daniel Wimmer, Lindsey Cohen, Andrew Wimmer, Jeremy Kelley; and seven great-grandchildren.
