Morgan Edward Rye, age 66 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Donald Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow at Rye Cemetery in Houston County.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home and from 12 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Morgan was born on February 29, 1948, the son of the late Forest Morgan Rye and Rhoda Jane Turner. He worked as a machinist for TVA.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Carol Rye.
He is survived by his sons, Morgan Edward Rye and David Dwayne Rye; grandchildren, Katelyn Rye and Isabelli Ry;; brothers, Daniel Eugene Rye and Jackie Lee Rye; sisters, Gail Schmidt, Geraldine Belk Wolard, Judy Jane Rye Byard, Linda Lorraine Austin, Wanda Kay McWhorter, Brenda Fay Reynolds, and Janet Lynn.
