Mildred Wortham

Mildred L. Wortham, 86, Clarksville, went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 7, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2013 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with the Rev. Jamie Mandrell officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 p.m., and from 12 noon until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Mildred was born October 1, 1926 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin James and Hattie McCoy Evans Sr.; husband, Henry Rex Wortham; son, Donald Rex Wortham; and her sister, Margaret Ogle.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughters, Carolyn (David) Wallus, Clarksville, Kathy (Steve) Newell, Murfreesboro; daughter-in-law, Kathy (Johnny) Walker, Alegree, KY; brother, Marvin James Evans, Jr., Springfield, TN; grandchildren, Chris Hood, Sherri Brooks, Dana Knight, Jacob Finney and Tara Warner; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Nephews and Grandson.
