Mildred Jeanette Hughes Kirkpatrick, age 74 of Clarksville, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at her home surrounded by family and friends.
She will be laid to rest next to her late husband, and the father of her children, Rev. Lawrence Wilson, 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Memorial Baptist Cemetery.
Mildred entered this life on July 12, 1948, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Henry Mack Hughes and Sarah Lokey Hughes. She spent her years as a caregiver impacting the lives of many who she served and was a member of Discover Life Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. Lawrence Wilson; daughter, Wendy Taylor; sister, Judy Baucom, and grandson, Robert Johnson.
Survivors include her loving husband, Tim Kirkpatrick; children, Rob (Lillie) Wilson, Chris (Cassie) Wilson, and Amanda (Bosco) Cordeiro; children-by-marriage, Amanda Waters, Meredith Doutitt, Olivia Hanna, and Andy Kirkpatrick; brother, Mike Hughes; sisters, Betty Hester, and Elaine Wickham; grandchildren, David Johnson, Bobby Cordeiro, Evelyn Cordeiro Wright, Matthew Johnson, Grace Wilson Fennema, Christopher Wilson II, Preston Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Holly Wilson, and Peter Wilson; 6 great-grandchildren, and several extended loving family members.
