Mildred Arnhart

Mildred E. Arnhart, age 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 23, 2014. Mildred was born in Hominy, Oklahoma on August 13, 1919, daughter of the late Charles Otto Ellis and Susan Iva Ellis. She moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1937 to attend secretarial school and began her career as an administrative assistant. She retired from Sun Oil Co. in 1982. She was involved in her church as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She also volunteered at Hill Crest Hospital. She enjoyed time with Mary Lou's Listener's Book Club. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ellis Gregory; her brother, Robert Lee Ellis.
Left to Cherish Her Memory is her daughter, Paula Marie Smith; son-in-law, Milford H. Smith and longtime friend, Bonnie Core of Tulsa, OK. She will be missed by her friends, the staff and residents of Spring Meadows Nursing Home.
A Graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Samuel Hill officiating.
Visitation with the family will be 1-1:45 p.m., Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
