Michael Wayne Travis, born on January 22, 1966, in Glenview, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at his home in Clarksville surrounded by his loving family. He was an accomplished woodworker and expert cabinet maker, dedicating his talents to creating genuinely beautiful cabinetry that echoed his passion and meticulous craftsmanship.

Michael was a proud member of the Clarksville High School Class of 1984, where he forged bonds and shared memories that would last a lifetime. His commitment to his craft and his ability to see beauty in raw materials reflected his approach to life—thoughtful, genuine, and full of care.

Family was at the heart of Michael's existence. He loved his family immensely, a testament to the deep connections he fostered throughout his life. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Jessica Lynn Travis and his brother, Stephen Kent Travis. Michael also held a deep respect and love for the mother of his daughter, Lisa Duncan Travis, with whom he shared a beautiful portion of his life.

Michael joins in eternal rest, his parents, Jones Everett Travis and Linda Faith Pendergrass Travis, and his brother, Christopher Scott Travis. Their memories live on through the stories and moments shared, providing a lasting legacy that will be cherished by all.

A Baptist, Michael's faith grounded him, offering strength and solace throughout his life’s journey. Additionally, he had a passion for music, especially Classic Rock, the music he enjoyed during his formative years.
