McMurdock Nolen

McMurdock Nolen Jr., age 83, of Palmyra, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Signature Heath Care in Erin, TN.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with the Rev. Truitt Cockrell officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Nolen entered this life on October 19, 1930 in Montgomery County, TN, son of the late McMurdock Nolen Sr. and Edie Nesbitt Nolen. Mr. Nolen is preceded in death by his parents, one son William ‘Bill’ Miller, and brother, Charles Shelton.
Survivors include sons; Donald Miller, McMurdock Nolen III, Theoder Nolen, one daughter, Barbara Dibble, and one sister, Anita Nolen Lednicky. Mr. Nolen is also survived by seven grandchildren; Donald Miller Jr., Michelle Miller, Daniel Miller, Maxx-Ann Miller, Bill Miller Jr., Robin Miller, and Ian Schreiber, along with three great-grandchildren; Mason Miller, Janis Schreiber, and Quentin Schreiber.
