Mary Rye

Mary Louise Rye, age 80 of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Rye’s funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Baggett officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mary Rye entered this life on June 13, 1933 in Christian County and was the daughter of the late Vernon Roe Stockdale and Delmer Mae Morrison. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband Levy Rye Jr.
Survivors include her son, Ricky Dean Rye (Kris) of Clarksville; Daughter Barbara Goolsby (Larry) of Clarksville; Brothers, Ray Stockdale and Billy Stockdale both of Marion, TN; Sisters, Winnie Odemeyer of Nashville, and Evelyn Smith of Akron, Ohio; Grandchildren, Stephanie Swanberg, Amy Day, Jeremy Rye, Nathan Goolsby, and Parker Goolsby; and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include, Jeremy Rye, Nathan Goolsby, Kyle Swanberg, Mike Swanberg, Tyler Swanberg, and Jamie Day. Honorary pallbearer will be Griffin Swanberg.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church 3102 Prospect Drive, Clarksville, TN 37043.
