Mary Harjo

Mary Bell Harjo, 82, Clarksville, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel with Rev. Bill Corley officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born April 6, 1925 in Todd County, Kentucky, daughter of W.H. Laster and Jennie Dickerson Laster. Mrs. Harjo was a homemaker and a member of the Community Church and a former member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, the American Legion Auxillary Post 233 and TOPS. Survivors include the father of her children, Austin Amos Harjo, Muskogee, Okla.; her sons, Billy (Cindy) Harjo, Knoxville, Johnny Harjo, Clarksville; daughters, Bobbie (Steve) Caudill, Clarksville, Teresa (Jamie) Burger, Lebanon, Ill.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
