Mary Evelyn Denton

Mary Evelyn Denton, age 92, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Robertson and Dr. Ted Denny officiating.

Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Evelyn entered this life on June 18, 1933 in Clarksville, TN to the late Omie Parker and Lena Poole Parker.

She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church for 30 years and a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Paul Denton, and her siblings, James Parker, Coy Parker, Jessie Parker, Edna Parker Denton, Betty Parker Melton, and Omie Parker, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Terry Paul Denton , and Nicky Denton (Vickie); child by blessing, Barbara Farrar (Johnny); grandchildren, Loren Daughdrill (Boone), Jarrod “JD” Denton (Jodi), and Kayce Denton (Steven Wall); great-grandchildren, Charlotte Daughdrill, Sawyer Daughdrill, Landry Denton, and Ruby Denton.

Pallbearers will be Jarrod Denton, Boone Daughdrill, Steven Wall, Johnny Farrar, Troy Farrar, Brad Denton, Jeff Denton, and Sawyer Daughdrill.

Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN.
